A Multitalented Girl " Regita Permana "

Regita Permana is one of all students in English Language Education at Sanata Dharma University,Yogyakarta. She is cheerful and friendly. She has many friends. Many people usually called her Regita. She is multitalented student, because she has many achievements.Regita Permana is famous student because she is active in every moment. She is beautiful girl and funny. She has a small eyes and pointed nose. Her face is oval. She has a long wavy hair. She is thin and tall. She has bright skin. She is very friendly and easy going to the others.Regita is clever student. Although she studies in English Language Education she also joins in many activities. She is active in many activities likes Masdha FM, Sexen and last month she had Breaktime. She is an announcer in Masdha FM. As an announcer she is very busy, but she can handle it very well. She can handle her time for studies, Masdha FM, Sexen, etc. She is a bassist of Sexen. She is very multitalented, beside that she is also active in many event. Last month she’s crowned as Miss PBI 2011. She is also smart because she gets scholarship from her achievements.  This is about Regita Permana if you want meet her you can come to English Language Education at Sanata Dharma University.

E-Focus Photo Exhibition

Last month, E-Focus held a program of photo exhibition. The Photo exhibition was agenda E-Focus last year which delayed. The chairman of photo exhibition was Hendricus. The purposed of photo exhibition were to introduce E-Focus to all participants of English Welcoming Day (EWD) and to make English Welcoming Day (EWD) merrier because the theme of photo exhibition was Rise and Shine Light Up the World like the theme of EWD. The fund of photo exhibition got from PBI because E-Focus was one of program in PBI. Photo exhibition eas held in FKIP Park and “Lorong Cinta PBI”. The exhibition made for all students in Sanata Darma University and the exhibition had universal charactheristic.

English Welcoming Day

English Welcoming Day is annual event. It is PBI program which is given for the new student of PBI. The purpose of this program is to introduce the students each other. Beside that, English Welcoming Day also purpose to keep friendship between students and lecturers of PBI. English Welcoming Day will be held at Wonogondang, because every year the event is held in the same place. The Committees come from PBI student. If we want to be committees, we have to send CV to process. There, we will be selected. After selecting by process, CV will be given to every department which have charge. The fund of this event comes from originally PBI, because English Welcoming Day is one of the PBI’s programs. The other fund come from Participants and Sponsorships.

English Action Days

English Action Day.

English Action Day is annual event. It is held by English Education Study Program of Sanata Dharma University. The event is held to introduce English Education Study Program of Sanata Dharma University to Senior High School students. EAD is held on March at English Language Educatoin Study Program, Badan Administrasi Akademik and Student Hall Sanata Dharma University. The committe of EAD are student of English Language Education Study Program who studies in  first semester until fifth semester. The fund comes from PBI fund and sponsorship, because EAD is one program of PBI. The purposes of EAD  are to introduce PBI to many persons, to practice skill of English for many students from Senior High School and Vocational Senior School. The participants of EAD are all sudents of Senior High School and Vocational Senior School from Jawa Tengah. The form of EAD are competitions, they are debate, speech, drama, writing and story telling. It has many supports because the events is held every year.

About Our Favorite Lecturer

Maria Septiyani S.Pd, is a lecturer who was born in Jakarta on September 9, 1987 from a mother who name Helena Suprapti .Ms. Septi hobbies’ are cycling and basketballs. she idolizes Cesc Fabregas, irfan bachdim and shufles dance. After she graduated from PBI, She decide to devoted herself to teaching at PBI.

Every day, she spends her time to read books. The books that she read is twilight series, christmast carol and The joy luck club. Although, she is a busy lecturer; she still likes listening music. She likes lady gaga , Paramore and Westlife. In class she always gives the material clearly and patiently. She always answers every question from her students. she is always cheerful and smiling to everyone. She is a lecturer who ables to be model for her students, because she is good and friendly lecturer for her students.

Venansia Ajeng's Daily Activities

Venansia Ajeng comes from Ambarawa. Now, she studies at Sanata Dharma University. Her friends usually call her Ajeng. In Sanata Dharma University, she is taking English Language Education Study Program.

Every day she gets up at 5 a.m. She always has breakfeast before she goes to campus. She goes to campus at 6.40 a.m. She spends her time at campus, she is busy because now she studies in 5th semester. Everyday she comes back to her boarding house at 7 p.m., because she has a lot of tasks. In weekend she also does her tasks, she spends her weekend for studies. She refreshes herself just once every month. However, she enjoys her studies and she feels comfort in this university. She gives a lot of advice for her young students at English Language Education Study Program, such as don’t late to sleep; always do your exercise; and don’t be afraid to structure subject. She said, “Enjoy your lower semester before you are like me”.

MAC’s PROGRAMS

MAC stand for Movie Apreciation Community. It’s one of the community of Sanata Dharma University at English Education Program. It has two programs in this semester for the student of Sanata Dharma University.

            First program of MAC was watching about one of the newest movie. It was “Cars 2”. It’s held on  November 1st 2011 in K10.The program started from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.  Twenty two students watched the movie. There were free snack and free ticket. Before the Cars 2 was started, the students listened opening music. Then, the movie was started.

            Second program was same with the first program. The second movie was “The Things” . It’s held on December 8th 2011 in K10. The movie started from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. The program was attended about twenty students. There were also free ticket and snack for who wanted to watch the movie. This movie started with opening music before the movie was started.

            After students watched the movies, the students gave appreciation for the movies. In other hand, the students could join other students of Sanata Dharma in this community. They got a lot of experiences after watching the movies, bacause the movie gave them new kowledge and amusing. After interviewing, I could give appreciation for their program. The program was not only giving many new thing about movie, but also gave us information about the newest movie. I heard from one of the MAC’s commite, MAC had many plans about watching the newest movie but I didn’t know about the plan.
